Porsche 911 930 Turbo 3.0 | Svensksåld

The Porsche 930 3.0 Turbo, was Porsche’s first production turbocharged 911. Powered by a 3.0L flat-six producing 260 hp, it featured a four-speed manual transmission and a distinctive wide-body design with a large rear whale tail for increased downforce. A total of 2, 819 units were produced between 1975 and 1977. Due to its rear-engine layout, and sudden power delivery, the 930 earned the infamous nickname "Widowmaker", as inexperienced drivers often struggled to handle its unpredictable dynamics at high speeds.

This Motorcar

This 930 3.0 Turbo was delivered new to the Swedish market in a striking combination of a Black exterior beautifully complemented by a White leather interior.

The car was handed over to its first owner in August 1976. Over the next 18 months, the first owner drove approximately 15, 000 km and had it serviced at Porsche Salzburg during a trip through Europe. It then passed through several owners, all of whom are listed in the accompanying documentation.

Since 1990, the car has had only three owners and has been driven just 14, to ensure it was in perfect mechanical condition, Porsche Center K3 performed a comprehensive service and mechanical overhaul, the car has been driven only 15 km.

In conclusion, we present a fantastically preserved example of the original Widowmaker. Benefiting from recent major mechanical work, this car is exceptionally well-documented, complete with its full ownership history, and the original Service Book and Manual.
