Buje

The old centre of Buje is on a 222m high hill from where is a beautiful view of nearby hills and green terrace fields. The prehistoric hill-fort of St Pelegrin near the town testifies to life in this region from the Bronze Age. The town’s medieval structure, walls, two town gates, two towers and the central square have been preserved. One of the best tourist attractions is driving along the roads in the Buje area. Aside from seeing beautiful landscapes, you can taste and buy the best Istrian wine and olive oil.
