The focus has been on combining maximum maneuverability on the wave face with maximum drive for upwind ability and early planing. The overall reduction in width for 2017 is complemented by the incredible drive of the full outline. The reduced relative length is offset by this significant increase in nose width, creating a more parallel outline for increased stability and speed generation. The parallel outline blends towards a reduced area in the tail, resulting in more grip and drive off the top turn.
